Vista Plaza Park is on the site of a former landslide that occurred during the El Nino storms of 1998. The landslide damaged two homes beyond repair and threatened additional damage to six others. Through the cooperative efforts of the City, residents, state and federal officials, various grant funds were secured for the construction of a park. Vista Plaza Park features spectacular views of the surrounding area.
