Currently, Paul serves as an appointee of Governor Arnold
Schwarzenegger on the California State Mandates Commission.
A long-time resident of Laguna Niguel, Paul has been
active in community affairs over the years and has been involved in many
local organizations, including: the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce, Beta
Foster Care, and Saddleback College Foundation, to name a few.
Paul is currently the City Council Liaison to the City’s
Sister-City Committee. Laguna Niguel is one of only eight cities in the
nation to have active sister city adoptions with cities in Iraq. He also started the City’s effort to adopt
the First Battalion, Fourth Marines at Camp Pendleton, where he launched the
successful ongoing effort to help the families of the Marine unit while the
marines are oversees.
Paul currently serves as the City’s representative to the
Orange County Transportation Authority, where he serves on the Board of
Directors. He also serves on the
Board of the Southern California Association of Governments and the Orange
County Council of Governments.
Additionally, in the past year, Paul has served on the Board of
Directors for the Transportation Corridor Agencies as well as on the
Executive Committee for the Orange County League of Cities. Paul was also just appointed to the Metrolink
Board of Directors in December, 2008
In addition to his civic duties, Paul is the President and
CEO of Glaab & Associates, a public relations, governmental affairs and
political consulting firm in south Orange County.
Paul lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Janice, and
their seven year-old daughter, Molly.
